At ShieldCase, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our products. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for returns, exchanges, and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Return Eligibility

1.1. Return Window

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

1.2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • In the original packaging
  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase

1.3. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products that have been used or installed
  • Products with broken seals or damaged packaging
  • Custom-designed or personalized items
  • Digital products
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items (unless defective)

2. Defective or Damaged Products

2.1. Inspection Period

We recommend that you inspect your products immediately upon receipt. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact our Customer Service team within 48 hours of delivery.

2.2. Proof of Damage

For damaged items, please provide clear photographs of the damage and the packaging. This will help us process your claim more efficiently.

2.3. Replacement or Refund

For defective or damaged products, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs incurred. The choice between a replacement or refund will be at your discretion.

3. Return Process

3.1. Initiating a Return

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for the return
  • Your preferred outcome (refund or exchange)

3.2. Return Authorization

After we receive your return request, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and detailed instructions on how to return your item. Please do not send your purchase back without first obtaining a RAN.

3.3. Shipping Returns

You are responsible for the cost of returning the product unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.

4. Refund Process

4.1. Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution, typically 5-10 business days.

4.2. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will issue a store credit.

4.3. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may issue partial refunds:

  • If an item is returned with signs of use or damage not caused by ShieldCase
  • If only part of a bundled product is returned
  • For sale items or items purchased with promotional discounts

4.4. Refunded Items

The following will be refunded:

  • The price paid for the product
  • The original shipping cost (only if the return is due to our error)

The following will not be refunded:

  • Return shipping costs (except for defective items)
  • Installation or service fees

5. Exchanges

5.1. Exchange Eligibility

If you need to exchange an item for a different size, color, or model, please follow the same process as for returns. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

5.2. Exchange Process

To exchange an item:

  1. Contact our Customer Service to request an exchange
  2. Return the original item following our return instructions
  3. Once we receive the returned item, we will ship the exchange item to you

If the exchanged item has a different price, we will either charge or refund the difference as appropriate.

6. Warranty

6.1. Warranty Coverage

All ShieldCase products come with a limited lifetime warranty that covers manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

6.2. Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, please contact our Customer Service team with details of the issue and proof of purchase. We may ask for photographs or other documentation to assess the claim.

6.3. Warranty Resolution

For valid warranty claims, we will either repair or replace the defective product at no cost to you. If the exact product is no longer available, we will offer a comparable replacement.
